I am Giorgos, the owner of the property, and I welcome you at Traditional Seaside Cottage! Since 2009 I work as a sales representative in the food industry. Also I am active in tourism over the last six years in promotion and rental of our family accommodation. I am interested in communication and interaction with people from other cultures. The part of tourism is the most important sector of our local economy and as traditionally hospitable and open people we can provide the best possible service with professionalism and consistency. I am usually willing to suggest nice places for food and swimming. I am also very familiar with specific places that are family friendly. I am always willing to respond immediatelly to my guests requirements.
Greece and especially Crete is a very famous destination for vacations. Also, Crete is very famous for Cretan hospitality. So, if you visit our cottage you are going to feel like home, you will taste traditional cretan food and have the oppurtunity to visit very special places.
Traditional Seaside Cottage in Chania located only180 m from the beach and 15 min (by car) from the center of Chania. Only two min from the National Road, where you can travel by car to some of the most beautiful beaches of Europe (Falassarna, Elafonisi, Palaiochora, Balos, etc.)
In 4 minutes you can walk to a very nice beach. It also offers quick access several Greek taverns, mini markets and shops where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and traditional Cretan products (at Tavronitis and Kolimvari). It is right next to a luxury resort spa with open access to guests that want to try summer cocktails, the relaxing atmosphere of a swimming pool (ideal for couples and families with young kids), a tennis court and other enjoyable facilities (with very reasonable extra charge ofcourse).
It is 15-20 minutes by car to the center of the town (from the national road) but also quite close to some of the most exotic beaches of Chania (Elafonisi, Falassarna, Paleochora ect.)
There is public transportation to the center of Chania.
